Labrador-Caribou Wilderness Adventures provides nonresident hunters
with all licenses for big game and small game in our area.
Hunter
information

General information and regulations
found here are applicable to nonresidents.

Nonresident hunters must possess
a nonresident hunting license. He/she must also possess proof
or verification of having met his/her own jurisdictions hunter
education requirement and must present this information
immediately upon the request of a conservation officer.

Nonresident big game hunters
are required to be accompanied
by licensed guides. Guides
are supplied by Labrador-Caribou Wilderness Adventures. Small
game or waterfowl hunters do not require guides.

Nonresident big game license
(bear,moose,caribou), are only available
through licensed outfitters. Hunters should contact Labrador-Caribou
Wilderness Adventures to determine the availability of license
and to obtain the required application
forms.

Nonresident small game license
are available through Labrador-Caribou Wilderness Adventures.

Hunters must possess a game
export permit to take game out of the province.
Export permits are available free of charge from Labrador-Caribou
Wilderness Adventures.
- Nonresident black bear hunters
also require a CITES permit to transport blackbear parts outside
Canada. These permits are also provided free of charge by Labrador-Caribou
Wilderness Adventures.
- It is unlawful to
chase or harass any wildlife with aircraft, motor vehicle, boat,
snow-machine or all-terrain vehicle of any type.

Firearms
-
Beginning 2001
all Nonresidents entering Canada for the purpose of Big game
hunting must have approval to transport firearms prior to
entering the Country. Labrador-Caribou Wilderness Adventures
will assist in making all the necessary arrangements.
